BYD Great Han: up to 1,008 km on CLTC, 5,256 mm long, China launch on October 13
BYD's flagship electric sedan is on presale in China from 249,900 yuan. Whether it will come to Europe is unknown.

The Great Han (Da Han in Chinese) is BYD's large electric sedan. Its market launch in China is scheduled for October 13, 2026, with deliveries set to start two weeks later, according to Forococheselectricos. Presales began on August 21 at the Chengdu auto show, according to Electrek.
Range and charging
Rear-wheel-drive versions have a range of up to 1,008 km on China's CLTC cycle, and the top all-wheel-drive version 880 km. All versions use an LFP battery with a capacity of 102.326 kWh. The CLTC cycle is less demanding than Europe's WLTP, so these figures should not be compared with WLTP data; the sources give no conversion for this model. BYD claims charging from 10 to 70 percent in about 5 minutes and from 10 to 97 percent in about 9 minutes with its Flash Charging 2.0 system.
The rear-wheel-drive version has a single motor rated at 370 kW (about 503 PS), and the all-wheel-drive version two motors with a combined 570 kW (about 775 PS). The car is 5,256 mm long, 1,999 mm wide and 1,510 mm high, with a 3,130 mm wheelbase; the stated drag coefficient is 0.197.
Price and Europe
Prices in China range from 249,900 to 299,900 yuan according to Forococheselectricos. Electrek gives 249,900 and 269,900 yuan for the rear-wheel-drive versions. Forococheselectricos states plainly that it is not yet known whether the Great Han will come to Europe, and Electrek does not mention exports.
