Xiaomi Sky Nomad: more than 70,000 locked-in orders in 30 days, over 10,000 deliveries in September

Xiaomi Auto said the hybrid SUV's first month on sale brought more than 70,000 orders. These are orders, not deliveries.

Event date: October 8, 2026 · Published: October 12, 2026

Xiaomi Auto said on Weibo on October 8, 2026, that the Sky Nomad line had collected more than 70,000 locked-in orders within 30 days of launch, from September 7 to October 7. CnEVPost, which cites the post, notes that orders are not deliveries and that Xiaomi did not disclose a breakdown by version.

The Sky Nomad models are extended-range electric vehicles (EREV): the five-seat N70 Pro and N70 Max, the seven-seat N90 Max and the five-seat N90 Max Studio, designed for camping. The starting price is 209,900 yuan. Sales and deliveries began on September 7.

Deliveries and comparison data

Xiaomi chief Lei Jun said on October 1 that Sky Nomad deliveries exceeded 10,000 units in September. According to CnEVPost, Xiaomi Auto's total deliveries exceeded 40,000 in September, compared with 30,153 in August. The number of orders is therefore several times higher than September's Sky Nomad deliveries, and turning them into deliveries will take more time.

The source gives no range or battery specifications. It does not mention sales in Europe, so nothing is known about the manufacturer's plans for that market.
