Denza Z: 1,604 hp for half the price of a Porsche

1,604 horsepower. This is the Denza Z, an electric sports car from the BYD group. In July it drove up the hill at the Goodwood festival. 3 motors. The track version should do 0 to 100 in under 2 seconds. In Poland, Denza offers three versions: Coupe, Spider and Racing. The Porsche 911 Turbo S has 711 horsepower and costs almost 2 times as much. For now, only the maker gives these performance figures. We have not found independent tests yet. Why does BYD want a car like this? Denza is meant to be a premium brand and is only now entering Europe. And nothing builds a brand faster than a car that, on paper, beats a Porsche at half the price.
