BYD Great Han: 1,008 km on the CLTC cycle
About this video
1,008 kilometers of range. That is what the BYD Great Han promises, a new flagship sedan from China. That is range under China's CLTC cycle. Under Europe's WLTP it would be about 820 kilometers, one outlet estimates. Charging from 10 to 97 percent in 9 minutes is rounded: BYD gives results from 8 minutes 45 seconds to 9 minutes 24 seconds. And only at BYD stations, with up to 1,500 kilowatts. China launch on October 13. Presale prices from 249,900 yuan, in China and before import duty. Why such a flagship? The regular Han sold 2,997 units in August, 61 percent fewer than a year earlier. The catch: BYD has not announced a version for Europe, and we have not yet found the car itself in official videos.
